Somersville Road and Leland/Delta Fair Blvd under the large tree at 7:30am and depart at
7:45 sharp unless otherwise stated. All trips,with some exceptions, are a GO. FEES: There
is a guide charge of $5/person/day hike. Additional charges will apply for overnite and
special/extended trips. Travel is provided in the club van on a first come, first serve basis
(five max.) and as such all tolls and entrance fees will be covered. A waiver/disclaimer is to

control welcome) – Introductory “Happy New Year Hike” will meet at the Fredrickson Lane
staging area at 8am. Hike to the Oil Canyon overlook on circuitous routes. 11 miles max!
Bring lunch.
FEB 23, Sat. – DH2 (Fee $5) - Day Hike, Round Valley, Brentwood – 3-6 miles up Hardy
Canyon and beyond. Bring a snack

APR 19, Sat – DH3 (Fee $5) - Day Hike, Fall Creek, Felton – Refreshing hike thru woodlands.
Visit historic sites and lime kilns. Bring lunch.

Grove – Leaving 7:30pm Friday evening. Seven miles round trip. Spectacular vistas! Twelve

JUN 21, Sat - DH5 (Fee $20) – Day hike, Big Basin – A loop trip to Berry Creek Falls and
return (12 miles!) to our spaghetti feed. Bring lunch. Expect late return home.
JUL 19, 20, Sat & Sun – BP1 (Fee $10/two people) – Kid Backpack, Black Diamond, Antioch
– Leaves from the Fredrickson Lane staging area for an easy 3.5 mile hike to our camp
site. At least one parent to a child, please! Call for detailed instructions.
AUG 17, Sun – DH3 (Fee $5) – Day Hike, Palomarin Trail, Point Reyes – Nine mile round trip
with great views, lakes and a waterfall at the turn-around point. Bring lunch.
SEP 20, 21, Sat & Sun – BP3 (Fee $20) – Backpack, Lane–Sunset Trail Camp, Big basin -
Begins and ends at Portola State Park and follows an easement into Big Basin to this dry
camp adjacent to China Grade. Bring water!!
OCT 11, 12, Sat & Sun – BP2 (Fee $20/two people) – Kid Backpack, Dog Friendly, Showers
Lake, Eldorado NF (dogs under control welcome) – In and out, one mile up one mile down.
An easy four mile trip near Carson Pass (Hwy 88) with a beautiful lakeside stay.
NOV 15, 16, Sat & Sun – CC1 (Fee $20/family) - Car Camp, Kirby Cove, Marin Headlands – A
family overniter in an area just outside the Golden Gate Bridge where most never visit.

“Contact Us, Departures”) for a 2-3 hour harvest moon adventure.
